WHAT ELSE ANTWERP_
About Antwerp: This year WHAT ELSE EUROPE will take us to the Belgian city of Antwerp. With just 500.000 inhabitants, Antwerp is a rather small city, but has a very large and strong creative scene. The Royal Academy of Fine Arts is known across the globe and has developed many important designers of our time. As well, the art scene of the city is big and has greatly impacted the rest of Europe.
Also, this year the focus of What Else is to bring young creatives from different European countries together; to inspire each other and to be inspired in a new environment, meet like-minded people, create together and build friendships over the boarders.
During the week together we will learn about the city and the creatives living in Antwerp. We will meet the street art scene, talk with urban developers about Antwerp, take studio visits (for example a visit at Dries Van Noten and the Royal Academy) and we will host workshops with different artists.
What Else Antwerp is about You, the city, about building friendships, networking and co-creating.
The costs for What Else Europe are 390,-€ per person. Included in that are all What Else Antwerp activities and workshops and 7 nights at the Century Hotel incl. breakfast.
The concept of What Else Europe is to gather a rather small group of creatives with different backgrounds from different countries in Europe. The group will consist of around 25 people that will be selected from all applicants to guarantee an interesting mix of people.
APPLICATIONS until the 24th of November 2017
